Temptation Will Not Win!

“Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.” James‬ ‭1:14‬

‭We always think that God is tempting us to see if we will mess up, but that is not how it is at all. The temptation will never win when you speak God into your circumstance. The Bible teaches us that God doesn't tempt us. God actually wants to help us get away from temptation, He has given us a way out by rebuking the devil, then he will flee the Bible says. The Bible also tells about how the enemy tempted Jesus in the wilderness, he tempted Jesus with bread because he knew Jesus was hungry. The enemy doesn't temp us where we are strong, but instead where we are weak, where he knows we will give. See temptation doesn't always come in the form of sin, but sometimes comes in the form of doubt, hatred for ourselves, and fear. If the enemy can make take your mind off of God and make you think that you're not good enough and that God can never love you, then you will start to distance yourself from God. He thinks if he can hit you in your weak spot, that you'll run from God out of fear of being too far gone, but that is a lie. The enemy is making you think that, know that you are never too far gone because God's grace can be found anywhere. God will always be waiting on you with open arms. If the enemy has used doubt, fear, insecurities, or even sin know that God still loves you, and is waiting for you to come back to Him. Do just as Jesus did in the wilderness , don't let him in. Rebuke the enemy and he will flee the Bible says! You have the power of God, use your words to rebuke him! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.” James‬ ‭1:13‬ ‭ “And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.” Matthew‬ ‭6:13‬ ‭ “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:13‬ ‭ “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil.” Matthew‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭
