Believe When You Cannot See!
“For we live by believing and not by seeing.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
If we based everything that we do on what we can see to believe in then we’d never get anywhere in life. Things that we are able to believe in and that are most important are unseen. Happiness is a key factor in each of our lives, we all want it and need it, but see you can’t see happiness for it self only in forms. Often a smile when you pass a stranger, a hug when you see someone after a while, and even a laugh with others. Happiness is something we all search and dream to feel in the sad moments, although it is unseen we believe that it is there. That is exactly how God is, although we cannot see Him completely we can see him in forms. When a stranger opens a door, when someone says “God bless you”, when you’re at your lowest and someone comes to you with kindness, when someone hugs you when you’re sad, a smile at the sadness moments and even an invite to church. God is all around us although He is not seen. You can search your whole life to see Him but never will. The Bible tells us that we aren’t supposed to see His face, I assume in Heaven we will someday, but our days on earth are solely based on believing without seeing. The true test of faith is believing without seeing. That’s exactly what we should do about our future also, we should believe that God has it all handled although we cannot see what is ahead. If we can believe in God without seeing we most definitely can believe He has great plans for our future for us! Today rest and relax knowing God has the future all planned out, all you have to worry about is believing without seeing! Here are some verses to reflect on today! “Jacob named the place Peniel (which means “face of God”), for he said, “I have seen God face to face, yet my life has been spared.””Genesis 32:30 “Yes, he wrestled with the angel and won. He wept and pleaded for a blessing from him. There at Bethel he met God face to face, and God spoke to him—”Hosea 12:4 “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1 “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”Hebrews 11:6
