God Is Working In You!

“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬ ‭

Let God work in you and through you to do the plans He has for you! The plans God has for us is always the best plan for our life. Have you ever been in a spot where you feel like you are at a fork in the road and don't know which way to turn? If that is where you are now or in time to come then relax, and ask God what to do. If God is working in you He can give you the desire to follow the path He has planned for you. The best thing about God is He continues to work on us even when we aren't the best versions of ourselves. I was listening to music today and the song said, "Being broken down to be made new again." If you feel like this past year has broken you down, constant battles and feeling like you can't win for losing maybe like nothing has gone right for you then know this year was for finding strength in God. You have planted seeds of faith over this last year by trusting in God, so know this next year will be reaping a harvest of blessings. Hold on to the hope God has placed in you. The One who started a good work in you will finish it. He is still working on you, keep going! Today take a step of faith into the desire God has placed in your heart knowing that He is still got great plans for your future even if you can't see that right now. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭ “Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace.” Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭37‬ ‭ “There is hope for your future,” says the Lord. “Your children will come again to their own land.” Jeremiah‬ ‭31‬:‭17‬ ‭ ““So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭34‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
