He Sees You All The Time!

“The wicked think, “God isn’t watching us! He has closed his eyes and won’t even see what we do!”” Psalms‬ ‭10:11‬ ‭

Do you ever feel like you’re doing all that you can do to be the best person, Christian, friend, parent, sibling, child, girlfriend, boyfriend, husband or wife and no one around you notices? See we think no one looks at our progress or the things we’ve changed to be better in ourselves, but that is a lie. God sees all the things we do good or bad. He watches us constantly checking in on us to see if we need anything, if we are wanting to talk to Him, if we are hurting and sad, if we’ve made a mistake or if we’re progressing. We never go unnoticed. I know being a Christian causes us to stand out to the world, and it feels as though at times that we stand out but are also unnoticed for our beliefs, but God doesn’t ever forget us. He always is checking in. He wants us to talk to Him and communicate. As a child we were taught we had to be good for Santa to get presents, but Santa isn’t the only one watching us all the time. Jesus sees us when we’re sleeping, He knows when we’re awake, He knows if we’ve been bad or good. He wants us to be the absolute best versions of ourselves. Jesus isn’t like what Santa was, Jesus is a 24/7 Savior for all of us, He wants to give us eternal life though Him, He wants to give us strength when we feel weak, He is the creator of us and the one who can change anything for us. Today remember the real true meaning of Christmas, that we celebrate this time of year for the birth of our Savior! Jesus is the reason for the season and the miracle-worker in all of our lives. Hold on to hope knowing that God sees your progress and is so proud of you! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “They may be allowed to live in security, but God is always watching them.” Job‬ ‭24:23‬ ‭ “Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. As slaves of Christ, do the will of God with all your heart.” Ephesians‬ ‭6:6‬ ‭ “So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭ “We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.” Hebrews‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭
