Tell Everyone About Jesus!

“Dear brothers and sisters, I want you to understand that the gospel message I preach is not based on mere human reasoning.” Galatians‬ ‭1:11‬ ‭

We as Christians should always be ready to tell others about Jesus, even strangers. We should bring Him up in every conversation that we have the chance to do so. How often are you spreading the Gospel? We tend to forget that we don't have as much time here on earth as we would like, we have to make the most of every moment. I know it can be scary to share His word with a complete stranger, but imagine if it was you who was lost in this world and didn't know about Jesus would you want someone to tell you? We always think that it is by choice that someone isn't following Jesus, but the truth is some people have never been taught about Him. I was blessed to be raised in a church and taught about Jesus, but not everyone has or has had that privilege. We should invite people to church with us, invite them to a bible study, host a bible study, tell others about how God saved us from sin, give to the homeless, be kind to everyone we meet, and most of all be the example that you needed before you found Christ. We tend to be impatient with nonbelievers and people who don't know about God, but we can't forget how patient God has been with us when we were lost in the depths of despair living in the sinful world. We have to be kind knowing that is what Jesus did for us, and what we should do for others. We have to do our part, share the Gospel and bring people to God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.” Romans‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭ ““Brothers—you sons of Abraham, and also you God-fearing Gentiles—this message of salvation has been sent to us!” Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭13:26‬ ‭ “If you support others who preach to you, shouldn’t we have an even greater right to be supported? But we have never used this right. We would rather put up with anything than be an obstacle to the Good News about Christ.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭9:12‬ ‭ “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew‬ ‭28:19‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
