Warn Those You Love.
"Don't think of them as enemies, but earn them as you would a brother or sister." 2 Thessalonians 3:15
How many times have we looked at those who live in sin or don't have the same belief that we do and we look at them as enemies rather than being a good person and telling them of Jesus and warning them about things that they can change? I know we are not perfect and we all make mistakes, so who are we to judge? We should think of it like this if we were the ones living in sin and not living as we should, wouldn't we want someone to warn us? Sharing the Good News of Jesus most defiantly can be scary because we fear people being offended, but Jesus didn't live in fear of offending those around Him, He shared the Good News with everyone He met. We should share with those around us knowing that the only way to heaven is through Jesus, and we want those we love to experience His grace and His love and to also experience eternal life just as we will as Christians. Jesus doesn't expect everyone to live a perfect life, but He does expect us to try and we live by His grace, not our own good deeds. If God didn't care if we sinned and lived the way that our flesh wanted to then He wouldn't have put the sins and the Ten Commandments in the Bible, He would have just left it out if it wasn't necessary. Today, try to tell someone the importance of living right, warn them of the things to come at the end of time, and warn them of how serious eternal life is. Take a step to help those you love to understand and find Jesus so that their lives can be changed just as Jesus has changed us who are saved by His grace. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “When the watchman sees the enemy coming, he sounds the alarm to warn the people.” Ezekiel 33:3 “I am writing these things to warn you about those who want to lead you astray.” 1 John 2:26 “I am not writing these things to shame you, but to warn you as my beloved children.” 1 Corinthians 4:14 “But if you warn righteous people not to sin and they listen to you and do not sin, they will live, and you will have saved yourself, too.””Ezekiel 3:21
