Without Fear Of The Future.

“My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.” Psalms‬ ‭31:15‬ ‭

We always think that what defends us from is things that we know about, but often times God saves us from things we don't even know about. The battles are often things God blocks before we can even see them, we don't even see them after He blocks them sometimes. We look at things from a first-person point of view, while God sees the whole point of view. We can't see what is ahead and that use to scare me, but I soon realized that the One who created me is also the One who holds my future also. We never have to fear what is next because God is over the future and He will never let the enemy win against us or take our future away from us. Our futures are promised to be good if we put our hope in God alone. We can be free from fear of the future if we remind ourselves who holds our future. We are free from the enemies lies in the name of Jesus, and he has no hold on us. Today, even if you don't know what the future will hold, keep in mind who holds your future because He has great plans for you and your life. Keep going God is up to something big for you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs‬ ‭31:25‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ “In the same way, wisdom is sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short.” Proverbs‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭ “For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
