A Life For God Alone!

“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬ ‭

Living a life that is pleasing to Christ is the best life we could ever live. Often times when we choose to live a life for Christ and pleasing to Him alone, others don’t understand and judge us for it. I grew up a Christian and lived a Christian life and was judged many times. Living life the way God wants will not always make those around you happy, but it will be a reward from God for the way you live and the example you give to others. Your life should be an example of how Jesus truly is. I’ve always been a forgiving person, even when people truly hurt me. I use to be made fun of for being that way, but eventually, I didn’t let it bother me. I let people hurt me over and over again and still chose to be kind and forgive. I know you must be wondering why, and the truth is because that is exactly what Jesus has done to me. We hurt Him by the mistakes we make, the sins we commit, and the way we didn’t want to live right at times, but at the end of every day, He loves us and forgives us. He just wants us to live a life pleasing to Him and for His glory alone. Your life has to represent what Jesus would do. Next time you're in a situation and you don't know which way to turn ask yourself, "what would Jesus do?" Go with the answer of whatever Jesus would do and you can't go wrong. Focus on God, because His plans for you are better than you could even imagine. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Forgive your people who have sinned against you. Forgive all the offenses they have committed against you. Make their captors merciful to them,” 1 Kings‬ ‭8‬:‭50‬ ‭ “For the honor of your name, O Lord, forgive my many, many sins.” Psalms‬ ‭25‬:‭11‬ ‭ “Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.”Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭2‬ ‭ “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭

When you are judged for being a Christian just know your doing something right. If it irritates them you know God is working through you. Keep going & serving Him.
