Joy In The Waiting.

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭14‬ ‭

Have you ever been praying for a word from God and it feels like He is silent when you need the word the most? I went through this recently, and it felt like God wouldn't answer me no matter what I said. I learned in that time that sometimes God answers our prayers and sometimes He doesn’t because the truth is told that we don’t always need to know the whole story at the time that we want to. If we knew everything that was happening and going to happen then where would faith grow? Why would we need faith? Faith is found in the waiting, just by not knowing. In those moments where it feels like you can’t see what’s next know God is already there and has it all figured out! There is hope in your waiting. God already knew you’d feel disappointed that you can’t seem to get an answer, but He also knew the solution and will bring it to pass. We never go through a season of waiting without a reward at the end. I’m saying that from experience! Every time God has asked me to wait I got better than what I even prayed for. You’re on the inside looking out, God is on the inside looking in. Ask God to send you a sign to give you hope to overcome again, and He will do just that. Just because He doesn’t answer in the timing or the way that we want Him to doesn’t mean that He has forgotten us, it just means that He’s working in and around us. When God is silent He is at work, which is one thing that always goes right for us! Today take joy from being in the waiting because your reward is always waiting at the end! Let your faith grow in this season, and help you remember that the path God has for you is better than your own! They will walk and not faint.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31‬ ‭ “Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.” Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭13‬ ‭ “Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬ ‭ “But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭25‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
