Know That God Will Answer You!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭

Do you ever feel like your prayer goes without any notice from God? No matter how much you pray for something you don’t get an answer. We all go through seasons of God being silent and lately I have had one of those. I pray all throughout my day just talking to God as I’m doing things, but it’s like if I ask God about this one situation I am dealing with He goes silent. Today as I was in prayer and reading the Bible, I came across a verse that said “you won’t know the day or the hour.” I knew it was for me. I don’t need to know when He will fix my problems, when He will come through for me, or when He will answer me, all that truly matters is that I have faith and know that He will. Faith is not thinking God can, it’s knowing He can and will. Whatever you’re praying over that makes you feel like God won’t answer you, maybe it’s not meant to know when or how He will fix it or do it but know that He will and leave it at that. When God wants us to know something He will show us a sign, speak to us, or speak through someone to tell us at just the right moment. God doesn’t let us know everything because we aren’t meant to, and to be honest our human minds can’t comprehend some of the things that God is doing just yet. Trust in God and know that He is at work for you. His plans are always great for you, and He will always come through for you if only you will believe. Today, focus on what you know to be true: God will always answer your prayers in His timing and if it is His will for your life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.”Matthew‬ ‭6:6‬ ‭ “Never stop praying.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17   ‬“But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” John‬ ‭15:7‬ ‭ “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.”Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭
