Stop Listening To The Enemy!

“Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.”1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬ ‭

Jesus didn’t come down onto the earth and die on the cross for us to listen to the devil’s lies. He will use any and everything he can to distract us from God and from our purpose. We have to tell him “no!”. We are not defined by what he has to say or what he thinks of us. Our worth is not found in man, what people think, say, or do to us, our worth is found in God alone! The enemy doesn’t just lie to us about our life, he also uses our emotions too. He will make us feel like we aren’t enough to be the best in our ministries that God called us to do, he will try to make us question our worth because once we think we aren’t enough then he can make us begin to question why God made us the way that he did. He will make you afraid of the future because he doesn’t want you to trust God with all things, and he will use any and every emotion to get power over us and make us believe that we aren’t able to accomplish all things through Christ. All the things the enemy tells you are a lie to keep you away from God! You have to remember that God made each of us perfect for what we are called to do, He doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called! Start today saying “no” when the enemy tells you a lie! You are more than capable to overcome if only you trust in God through it all! Lay your problems at the cross because God can and will restore all the enemy has stolen from you! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “and delivers me from my enemies. You hold me safe beyond the reach of my enemies; you save me from violent opponents.” 2 Samuel‬ ‭22‬:‭49‬ ‭ “Let our refugees stay among you. Hide them from our enemies until the terror is past.” When oppression and destruction have ended and enemy raiders have disappeared,” Isaiah‬ ‭16‬:‭4‬ ‭ “Come and redeem me; free me from my enemies.” Psalms‬ ‭69‬:‭18‬ ‭ “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬ ‭
