Your God Given Talent.

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬ ‭

We each have a God given talent it might be singing, playing an instrument, writing, teaching. or so many other things. Each of us have our own God given talent, but whether we choose to use it or not, it’s left completely up to us. See God gives us free will to use our talents for His glory for our own selfish desires. If we chose to sing out of our own flesh then it would never be as good as if we were to use it for God’s glory. His plans for our future is always great, and always good for us, if we follow Him then He will open doors for us. He gave us each a talent and a purpose to go along with it, and sometimes our talents don’t even go along really with our purpose at all, and that’s okay. Maybe your purpose is teaching but you’re good at something completely different. Just use whatever talent you have for His glory and not your own. Follow God and all the plans He has for you let Him guide the way. Today use your God given talent for His glory in the best way possible, where He leads you and help others find their purpose in God by leading them to Jesus. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬  ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭ “The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.”Psalms‬ ‭138‬:‭8‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
