Love Without End.

“But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭

If you acted solely in love in every circumstance imagine the way things would go. The Bible says a soft answer turns away wrath. Acting with love when someone hurts you, makes you angry, or irritates you calms the situation down. Acting hateful to someone is like fueling a fire to where showing love is like putting water on the fire and putting it out. You have the ability to be kind and love others if you choose to. Being a loving person is never bad for others to see you as, but being angry is. If we let anger control us we will get nowhere in life, because people don't want to be around someone who is constantly angry. Being a Christian means we are striving to be like Jesus, see Jesus did not love when it was convenient for Him, He loved without any conditions, and He loved when people hated Him. Look at the part of Jesus' life when they were killing Him in a way of a sinner's death, and yet He still said, "Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing." He said that about the people who were punishing Him and killing Him. Loving others and handling others with love is something that is difficult to be able to always do, but in the end, it is always worth it. Love without end, and without the measure of what others do, that is exactly what Jesus did. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “We love each other because he loved us first.” 1 John‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭ “Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning.” 2 John‬ ‭1:6‬  ‭ “A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.” Proverbs‬ ‭15:1‬ ‭ “Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice.” Luke‬ ‭23:34‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
