Sometimes Healing Hurts.

“O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone!”Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭14‬ ‭

As a kid we all fell and bumped our knees, most parents like to pour something on it to clean it, we all knew it would burn for a moment but also knew that it would help it heal in the end. Think about it this way, when God takes a friend or relationship away it hurts, it most definitely burns but we know that eventually, we will heal. I have noticed that often times God lets relationships end before they can genuinely break us even more. If God removes someone from your life then know that He knew something you didn't. God doesn't take people out of our lives without reason and preparing to send us better. I highly suggest that the next time you don't know if a friendship or relationship is meant for you then take time in prayer, and ask God to remove anyone or anything that is not meant for you. He will most definitely do it. If you are currently in a healing process of any sort, then know that it is okay to hurt, it's okay to cry and let your emotions out, and it's okay to be broken but remember that God can heal whatever is hurting you. Just because it hurts right now does not mean that God is not healing you. God is working on your miracle right now, He has not forgotten you. I know you feel like it will never get better, but God has promised us in His word that joy does come in the morning. Your life is about to change for the better. Today take time in prayer and give God the burden that you can't carry. God can heal anything that is hurting you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “The Lord nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health.” Psalms‬ ‭41‬:‭3‬ ‭ “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” Psalms‬ ‭147‬:‭3‬ ‭ “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.”Proverbs‬ ‭17‬:‭22‬ ‭ “I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them. I will comfort those who mourn,” Isaiah‬ ‭57‬:‭18‬ ‭
