You Are Royalty.

“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ ‭

Remember all the fairytales we heard as a child, about the princes and the princesses and how they lived in a kingdom far away, and there was a villain always in them. That's accurate to how life really is. We might not be royalty here earthly, but we are all princes and princesses, and we have a villain after our souls daily. Our kingdom and castle are Heaven, and our Father and our King are Jesus. You are royalty. When you find the people meant for you whether it be friends or relationships they will treat you like the royalty you are. You are a child of the One true King, He is your Father, and He loves you so much. Anytime you feel as though you are not enough remind yourself who you are in God. See the enemy wants you to think that you're not good enough because he too was once royalty in a sense as being a part of Heaven's choir. You are blessed enough that God never gives up on any of us no matter what, we are forgiven.  He loves you and He wants to give you His Kingdom and promise only if you'll give your life to Him and truly live a life pleasing to God. The best thing of it all is God thinks of us as His children, when He looks at us He doesn't just see our mistakes, our sins, or all the things we do wrong, He sees us with compassion, hope, and true unconditional love. You are chosen to be a part of this royalty if only you will accept it. Today, Resist the devil and be a part of God's beautiful and joyful Kingdom. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “The Lord will hold you in his hand for all to see— a splendid crown in the hand of God.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭62‬:‭3‬ ‭ “For royal power belongs to the Lord. He rules all the nations.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭22‬:‭28‬ ‭ “The bride, a princess, looks glorious in her golden gown.” Psalms‬ ‭45‬:‭13‬ ‭ “Your royal laws cannot be changed. Your reign, O Lord, is holy forever and ever.” Psalms‬ ‭93‬:‭5‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
