Waiting On God.

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭

Waiting is not always easy and often is hard, but it's always worth it. No matter if you're waiting on God to open a door, help you through a difficult time, send you a relationship, heal your heart, or just an answer from God, no matter what it may be God is at work silently for you at this moment. He is a God that never gives up on us and always has what is best for us in mind. Your life is full of promises, you never have to worry if God will come through for you, He always does. God never makes you wait without giving you better than you even expect. We spend so much time worrying about tomorrow when today has enough worries of its own, the Bible even says that. You never should let things of tomorrow take the joy of today away. Your waiting is not in vain, you have a miracle and blessing on the way for your life. You are about to see how much God has been working while you were waiting. You are at the door of the breakthrough and all the answers to your prayers will soon be there. You might not see it right now, and that is precisely what the enemy wants, he wants your mind clouded so you will give up. Don't give up and don't give in to those lies. God will come through for you! Today, pray for that breakthrough because it could be the last time you have to ask for it, you are at the point of the threshold and the door will soon open. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “As for me, I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.” Micah‬ ‭7:7‬ “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah‬ ‭40:31‬ ‭ “Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭ “Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.”‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:36‬ ‭

I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
