Where Love Begins.
““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
It's nice to have someone in our life romantically but every season in life is not to have someone with us in a relationship. Today being Valentine's day I know some of you are in the waiting for a relationship, it can be more than difficult for you to wait. When I was single and waiting I looked around at the people in my life in happy relationships and couldn't understand why I couldn't have what they do. I look back on that season of my life and realize that I learned so much. I grew a relationship with God in that time that would've been more difficult to do while in a relationship, although it is still possible to do so. When we find God we find unconditional love in the One who created us. When you're waiting on the right one focus on the best One, God loves you more than anyone else ever could imagine doing. If you are in a relationship and you feel loved then don't forget where love came from. Love came down over 2,000 years ago, to be born in a manger and die for your sins. Keep God in the middle of your relationship. Take time to go on dates that involve God, read a devotion together, send each other uplifting Bible verses, go to church together, listen to worship music, and pray together. Your relationship will grow tremendously if only you will put God in the middle of you two. When both of you put God in the middle you then will grow individually and together. God created us to not be alone, but He also created us to love Him and trust Him more than anyone else in this world. Today whatever your relationship status may be earthly, make sure your eternal status is what you're focused on the very most. Your life is all for His glory and make sure your relationships show that. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.” 1 John 3:16 “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Romans 5:8 “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud” 1 Corinthians 13:4 “But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:8
