Who's Right For Your Life.
“Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.” Proverbs 13:20
When you choose to surround yourself with someone you have to look at their morals, values, and character. I'm sure you know the saying that we have all heard, "Jesus even ate with sinners himself", but we also have to remember that He only had 12 close friends that walked with Him everywhere. Just because He did eat with sinners doesn't mean that He chose to surround Himself with them daily. When you begin to be around someone a lot you start to become like them, the way they act and talk will soon become a part of who you are too. The Bible tells us this to show us that it is important to choose people that are of good character and good morals to surround ourselves with. You cannot expect to be around the foolish and not be considered foolish. You need to be careful of those you surround yourselves with because it is very important. You can eat with sinners but not choose to always surround yourselves with them. Sometimes you do have to love others from a distance and be kind to them when you see them. Not everyone you meet is meant to be in your life as a friend or relationship sometimes they're only meant to be an acquaintance and that's what you have to leave it at. Today, I encourage you to pray and ask God to remove those that aren't meant to be in your life but don't be surprised when He does. It takes a lot of faith and acceptance to pray this prayer with true intentions knowing that God could remove someone not meant for you, but knowing it is for the best in the end. When someone is meant to be in your life God will show you. Trust God to send you and show you those who are right for your life and have pure intentions for you. Pray and let go, God will send you the best people for your life that align with your future. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Don’t answer the foolish arguments of fools, or you will become as foolish as they are.” Proverbs 26:4 “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13 “The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life; a wise person wins friends.”Proverbs 11:30 “There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.”Proverbs 18:24
