You Have To Love God, Fully!

“But the person who loves God is the one whom God recognizes.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭8‬:‭3‬ ‭

Loving God and liking Him can be divided very quickly. See liking God means that we like Him enough to go to church on Sunday, say a few prayers here and there, and go on about our week until the next service. Loving God on the other hand is living a daily life where you pray, read your Bible, and let God help you make even the smallest choices with you. If you love someone, you want them to be a part of your life as much as you can, rather than if you like someone, you don’t have to always have them around. A relationship with God is about fully trusting in His plan even when you don’t know what that is exactly. To trust in Him you must first recognize that He sent His one and only Son to die for your sins. Then you have to love Him for everything He has done and the things He hasn’t done. Today remind yourself not to go through the motions of life and only “like God”, make sure you love God wholeheartedly. Once you put God first in your life then He will never put you last! When you have God in your corner no one will ever win against you! Having God as your number one is the most important thing you could ever do. Today remember God loves you more than your mind could even imagine, He sent His Son to die for your sins and to live again. You are worth more than rubies! He has great plans for your life! Here are some verses to reflect on today! “The man answered, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”” Luke‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭ “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’” Mark‬ ‭12:30‬ ‭ “Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.” John‬ ‭14:23 ‬ ‭ “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” Romans‬ ‭8:38‬ ‭
