Your Season Is Coming!
“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians 6:9
Have you ever looked at those around you and felt like everyone is getting blessed except for you? I know I've been there. Whether it be others making the team for sports but you didn't, others getting a new car when you desperately need one, others getting a new house when you've searched for a while for one you can afford, others getting married but you haven't even found a relationship, others getting a new job when you can't get the job you desire, others having kids but you're struggling to conceive, or even just blessings in their lives that you've prayed for and have not gotten yet. When you are looking at what others have you are seeing only a small portion of what their lives are, even if you're close with the people who are being blessed you don't see what all happens. Know that your time will come. You might battle different things than they do, and it's okay to be in a different season than they are. You can't compare your life to theirs by one season that they have and you don't. You don't have to stress, your time will indeed come. God will bless you just as much and you will have your winning season soon enough. Remember that the rain doesn't last forever, you are going to see the sunshine again very soon. God has wonderful things for you. Today, focus on the good things God has blessed you with and remember that He has good plans for you and your future. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”Jeremiah 29:11 “God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:17 “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6
