A Wavering Faith.
“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1
When God blesses us we tend to think we are "lucky", but we aren't lucky at all. Life has nothing to do with luck. It's all about blessings from God. We aren't lucky we are blessed. We have to remember the moments we prayed for the things we have now and are yet to have. As I had dinner with my family and some family friends tonight, my family friend asked a question as to if we can lose God's blessings and mess up His plan by having a wavering faith? I thought about it and said, "No, what do you think and why?" They responded, "No. I don't think so at all. If you look at the story of Abraham, he lost faith in having the promised son. Although, God didn't stop Issac from being born later on." It Hit me so deeply. The fact that God loves us so much that He still blesses us even when our faith is small, even when we doubt, and even when we don't have the words to ask for the things we so desperately need. We have to remember that all the things we have are from God and a blessing. God blesses us even when we can't have faith that it will happen. He understands that we doubt and falls short of His glory, but it doesn't stop His plans or His blessings for our lives. Today, if you're praying for something but don't know or have the super strong faith that you once did, know that God is at work for you right now. He hasn't forgotten you, instead, He is about to open new doors for you. Get ready for His blessings, but remember to give Him the glory when He does. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac was born.”Genesis 21:5 “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.” Ephesians 2:8 “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” Hebrews 11:3 “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28
