Growing Your Faith.
“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”Romans 10:17
Do you ever feel low on faith? No matter how many actions you take you can't seem to grow any stronger? This verse really spoke to me tonight, often times we try to grow our faith but we have to realize the only way to grow it is through the word of God and hearing it. You have to dive into the word and understand it to grow. It's like planting a seed and never watering it, if we never water it then it will never grow. It's the same as having faith and saying we believe in God but never trying to grow our faith by reading the Bible. We have to teach ourselves to read the Bible even when it feels like a chore. Today, remind yourself that the Bible isn't like a history book, it's a love letter written from God's actions, words, and miracles to you. It's what we have to build our relationship with God on. We have to make sure that the word isn't only present in our minds but present through us. It's learning something so valuable that money cannot buy, but to never use it. That would be a waste to never use what you know is the truth. Today, dive deep into God's word and make every day count by reading the most valuable book in the world. God wants you to know more about His creation, blessings, and love for you. You have the ability to grow your faith if only you will allow yourself to grow. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1 “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 “Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.”Matthew 21:21 “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28
