The True Meaning Of Faith.

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭1‬ ‭

It's easy to trust God's plan when God is speaking to us in every little thing we see and do, but what is hard is trusting God even when He is silent. You have to trust God even when He doesn't speak a word. Everyone goes through a season of silence from God, and often times we think that God is angry or disappointed with us but the truth is sometimes God is only silent because He is at work in our lives. If God told us every detail of everything He was done for us then why would we need to have faith in the unknown. Faith is the foundation for our relationship with God. I recently had a thought as to why Jesus couldn't have waited to come when cameras or social media were here. It would make the world see that He was real. At that moment God spoke to me and said, "Faith is believing without seeing. If I came when everyone could see me then where would the faith be?" It really spoke to me. Believe in God's plan even when you cannot see the whole plan. Trust God in everything. If you can't see what you're trusting God over whether it be a situation, a hard time, a relationship, waiting on a relationship, a healing, a new car, a new house, or anything you can think of then know that even when you cannot see it God is working. Today trust God even when you only see a little bit of the plan God has for you and your life. Faith is building your relationship with God stronger. Faith is oftentimes the payment for our healing and blessings. Make your faith strong and watch your life change for the better. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.”Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬ ‭ “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.”Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭3‬ ‭ “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭6‬ ‭ “For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.” James‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
