Unimaginable Peace!

‭ “Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭

Sometimes God brings us to our weakest place where we cannot trust in man and we cannot trust earthly things. God oftentimes takes things away from us, not as a punishment but to make us put our hope and trust in Him alone. When God takes things away we oftentimes want to blame Him, instead, it should make us cling to Him. God takes things from us and breaks us down, but He also gives us unexplainable peace. What I mean by that is when things happen in your life that would normally make you spiral you will have peace come over you, things will hurt but they will never be able to break the peace of God that is inside of you. Becoming a true child of God doesn't mean that life doesn't have ups and downs, but it does mean that God will give you the strength and peace to deal with it. When God truly calls you, then you will always be filled with the peace and joy that you need. When troubles come, you only need to be still. Give the battle to God, because He will give you peace that you cannot even explain. God does love you, just because He takes things away doesn't mean He doesn't. Trust in God's plan, even when you don't know what that is! You will be blessed with His peace, joy, hope, and strength! God is using your weakest spots to make them and you in general the strongest! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees.” Isaiah‬ ‭35‬:‭3‬ “He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.”Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭29‬ ‭“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬ ‭ “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
