When You Feel The Most Lonely.

“God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.” Psalms‬ ‭68‬:‭6‬ ‭

We all have seasons of our lives we feel lonely whether it be when we start high school, start college, get married, have kids, or even just in random seasons of our lives. Lonely is something that we all feel in certain periods of our lives and it's something that we can feel even when around others sometimes. Being lonely isn't always just because were alone, being lonely can also be feeling alone in a crowded room and being an outsider. The best way I have found of finding a way to cope and become less lonely is to go to God. I go to God when I feel alone because I have come to realize over the years that the only way I could ever fill any void in my life is through the one who created me. You have to realize that any void or feeling that isn't good in life can be filled and fixed by God. You have to go to God with those thoughts, those feelings, those fears, and everything else you can think of. I'm not saying God doesn't fix the things we don't go to Him about, but when we tell God about those things it's showing Him that we trust Him enough to give Him those problems and wait for Him to fix them. Today, let God feel those voids, let God send the right people to heal the loneliness you feel, and let God shine through you so that others can see that God does heal what hurts us. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “I lie awake, lonely as a solitary bird on the roof.” Psalms‬ ‭102‬:‭7‬ ‭ “He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them.” Psalms‬ ‭145‬:‭19‬ ‭ “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬ “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭
