Who He Says You Are.
“Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.” Psalms 139:14
Have you ever noticed the person that is the harshest and the hardest on you is yourself? We tend to forget that what we think of ourselves often shows to others. We are always downgrading our feelings and how we look at ourselves. We have to uplift ourselves as if we are our own best friends because in a way we are. What we think of ourselves really does matter. We are what we make ourselves out to be. If we constantly tell ourselves we are a failure, we will never be good enough, we are broken, we cannot be fixed, we are damaged, we are ugly, we have too many imperfections or anything else in that nature then we are making ourselves become that. We can't expect to have the confidence to become all that we know we can be if we are always making ourselves feel down. We have to uplift ourselves. The best way to change the way you talk about yourself and think of yourself is don't think or say anything about yourself that God wouldn't say. God says, "You are fearfully and wonderfully made, you are chosen, you are My child, you have been called for such a time as this, you are far more precious than rubies, the plans I have for you they are plans to prosper you, you are forgiven, My mercy never runs out for you." Next time you have a negative thought about yourself remember what His word says about you. Keep your thoughts positive and watch the outcome of who you are start changing to the positive. You are worth so much and God loves you, He will never fail you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.” Psalms 33:12 “For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.” 1 John 5:4 “Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.”Proverbs 3:15 “Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations 3:23
