A Lesson Or A Blessing.

“The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” Proverbs‬ ‭11:25‬ ‭

How many times have you met someone and thought that you just didn't match with them as a friend, relationship, or even just an acquaintance? Sometimes those people you feel as if you have no connection with are the ones God wants you around the very most. Those people could be the ones that God has sent to help you, be a friend, your future spouse, or even someone to lead you to your calling in God. We are so quick to judge a book by its cover before we even know someone, and that is how today's world is. We judge someone before we even see the fruits that they bare. We should learn to be slower to speak when meeting someone because we never know why we are meeting them or why God has placed them in our lives. Don't get me wrong not everyone we meet is someone meant to be in our lives. I learned a long time ago that people either come into your life as a lesson or a blessing, and it's something that takes time to figure out. If you have someone in your life that you can't figure out why God connected you two then ask God to show you, and He will. I've done it before, and God showed me why they crossed paths with me, but not every time I asked because sometimes it's something we just don't need to know quite yet. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “If those who live there are peaceful, the blessing will stand; if they are not, the blessing will return to you.”‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:6‬ ‭ “Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.” 1 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭ ““Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.” John‬ ‭15:5‬ ‭ “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” John‬ ‭15:7‬ ‭
