His Promise Still Stands!
“Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?”Matthew 6:26
So many times we let time change our perspective on what God says. We think that by the way we are looking at things, it's too late for God to do something. Just know God can heal that family member, change your situation, open the door for that new job, help you buy a new vehicle, help you get into the college you so desperately want, or even just answer that prayer you've prayed for so long that you feel God has forgotten about, but He hasn't. Don't let time make you think that it still won't happen. When God says something it is set in stone, there is no going back. God says what He is going to do. You have to stop letting the enemy tell you that God has forgotten you, God never forgets us. Think of the verse about God caring for even the birds, if God remembers to feed even them why would He forget a promise He made to you? He wouldn't. God doesn't think like we do, He doesn't forget or get too tired to do something. Today, remind yourself that God's promise still stands, He is faithful to every word He has spoken to you! God is always going to remember everything He has promised to you and He will do it. God doesn't lie, He cannot lie so if He says it then it will happen! Get ready for those wonderful things God has promised you because they will soon come to pass! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”Hebrews 10:23 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28 “And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
