Jesus Felt Everything That We Feel.

““Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”” Luke‬ ‭22:42‬ ‭

Being human means we all are going to feel emotions, that is just a part of life, what we have to remember though is Jesus understands our emotions. If you think that Jesus didn't have emotions, you're wrong. When Jesus was on the Mount of Olives He said, "Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine."  He had fear of what was to come, but He also knew that what was going to happen next was to save all people now and to come. Whatever you're facing, pray the same prayer that Jesus did, and He will most definitely make a way through it. Your emotions are important to Him because if anyone understands them He does. He felt sadness, the shortest verse in the Bible is, "Jesus wept." This means He also cried, had fear, had worries, He was tested by the enemy in all ways that we cannot even imagine, He faced sin and temptations although He never fell for it and He felt pain beyond compare as He hung on that cross to save all of us from the sin that we use to be bound to. Whatever emotions you are dealing with take them to the foot of the cross, He will help you through them. You are priceless because the most priceless person of all paid a debt none of us could afford and He died for you to live freely. You are meant to be here for a purpose even if you don't know what that is quite yet. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Then Jesus wept.” John‬ ‭11:35‬ ‭ “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil.” Matthew‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭ “This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.” Hebrews‬ ‭4:15‬ ‭ “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭
