Silent Saturday but Sunday Is Coming!
“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Psalms 30:5
It's Saturday of Holy Week, and today it seems as though nothing is happening. All is silent as Jesus is in the grave. They saw Jesus was buried and all hope seem lost. The enemy thought he had finally won, that the true Savior was gone forever. If you're in a season of silence whether it is from someone you love, nothing good happening for you, God not answering you, or your prayers then know that your rejoicing moment is coming. Silent Saturday might have been your life for now but rejoicing Sunday is fixing to be here when your Savior arises and brings joy and hope once again. As we live in 2,022 AD (after death) we know that Sunday is bringing hope and joy, but those on that day 2,000 plus years ago they didn't know that. They were mourning the death of Jesus, they thought it was over. Sunday is coming, as we know our Savior is alive in all aspects of our lives and still performing miracles for us. Today, remind yourself that joy is coming in the morning to be exact! Our Savior will arise with the keys to death and eternity! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “O Lord, you know all about this. Do not stay silent. Do not abandon me now, O Lord.” Psalms 35:22 ““Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.” Exodus 20:8 “So they sealed the tomb and posted guards to protect it.” Matthew 27:66 “Joseph bought a long sheet of linen cloth. Then he took Jesus’ body down from the cross, wrapped it in the cloth, and laid it in a tomb that had been carved out of the rock. Then he rolled a stone in front of the entrance.” Mark 15:46
