Another In The Fire.

“Then the high officers, officials, governors, and advisers crowded around them and saw that the fire had not touched them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched. They didn’t even smell of smoke!” Daniel‬ ‭3:27‬

 ‭Have you ever felt as though what you're facing in life is a lonely battle that you're having to face all alone? You're simply not. God is behind you, beside you, and with you always. There is never a place where you will be that God is not already there. Let's think of the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego they stood up to the king and told him they would not bow to his god, because they serve the one true God. It made the king angry, so he decided to throw them in the furnace of fire, but not only the furnace but also to be heated to seven times hotter than normal. As they were thrown in the fire it killed the soldiers who threw them in. King Nebuchadnezzar then notice that there weren't three but four people in the fire, and the king said that it looked like the Most High God was in with them. He called for them to come out and when they did they had not even the smell of smoke on them. This story shows that when you walk through fire and trials in life God doesn't just sit back and watch it happen, God takes action. He protects and stands with us. Today, if you're in a battle, then you're not alone. Whatever your facing in life will not leave a mark on you, when you come out of this you will not even be hurt by it. Your battles are something that God already has handled. What you're facing today will be your testimony tomorrow! God hasn't forgotten you or left you alone, instead He standing with you just as He done for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Then Nebuchadnezzar came as close as he could to the door of the flaming furnace and shouted: “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!” So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stepped out of the fire.” Daniel‬ ‭3:26‬ ‭ “Therefore, I make this decree: If any people, whatever their race or nation or language, speak a word against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they will be torn limb from limb, and their houses will be turned into heaps of rubble. There is no other god who can rescue like this!”” Daniel‬ ‭3:29‬ ‬ ‭“You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet.” Psalms‬ ‭18:39‬ ‭ “But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.””John‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
