From Isolation To A Testimony.

“The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.” Psalms‬ ‭34:17‬ ‭

Do you ever feel isolated? Isolated means "single; exceptional." Sometimes we think that way because we are sick and can't be around anyone, have lost friends so we have no one to hang out with, are going through a breakup and feel like there is no one, have a mental illness, and don't want to be around anyone, or just feel we don't have anyone around and don't want to be around anyone. All of those can make us feel isolated. Imagine how these people in the Bible felt when they faced isolation. Noah and his family were on the ark for 40 days and nights of rain, plus the 150 days that it took for the earth to dry up, and then they were the only people left on Earth, Jonah was in the Whale for 3 days and 3 nights all alone, Daniel in the lion's den overnight alone, Job who lost everything except His faith in God, Jesus in the wilderness for 40 days fasting to be tempted by the enemy, and Adam the first man alive spent some time alone before Eve was created. All of those people who faced isolation ended up telling testimony of what they faced in those times and still help people today. In your season of isolation let it become your testimony, use the isolation as a way to testify that God can and will bring you through anything. Today, if you're in isolation take it as a time to use to grow closer to God, if you've been in isolation think of the ways God used it to grow you, if you haven't been through it yet use it in the future as the time of isolation with God instead of focusing on it being isolated from others. God has never failed you, and never will. The isolation is not punishment, it is instead it is to help you grow closer to God and to become your testimony. Often times God puts us in a place where we have no one to realize we only need Him. Put your faith and trust in God, not in others. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.”Psalms‬ ‭34:19‬ ‭ “Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”” Genesis‬ ‭2:18‬ ‭ “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.””‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:6‬ ‭ “Turn to me and have mercy, for I am alone and in deep distress.” Psalms‬ ‭25:16‬ ‭
