God's Opinion.

“Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety.” Proverbs‬ ‭29:25‬ ‭

When you change your perspective from trying to please everyone in the world to please God your decisions become much easier. If we constantly spend time worrying about what everyone else thinks, what others are going to say, and waiting for their approval we are honestly wasting time by not doing what God wants us to do. The Bible tells us it is dangerous to worry about what others think, instead, we should trust God because that is safe. for us. Whatever you're facing pray and ask for God's opinion because that is what really matters. If God's approval is on it, it doesn't matter what anyone says or thinks about it. When God opens a door for you no man can shut it, but when God closes a door no man can open it. Human power will never get us very far, but with the power of God, we can do anything. That is why God's opinion matters the very most. Don't spend time worrying about anyone else's opinion other than God. Today, seek God's opinions because that is what matters most. Let your will to please God outweigh the will to please the world, and then you will find peace within because it comes from God alone. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in people.” Psalms‬ ‭118:8‬ ‭ “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”Isaiah‬ ‭26:3‬ ‭ “Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1:10‬ “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
