Let God Lead The Way.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:5‬

‭If you let your emotions and feelings lead you they will fail you every single time. The Bible teaches us to not lean on our own understanding because He knew our human minds, emotions, and feelings would fail us every time. The Bible also teaches us that His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. This shows us that the way we think and comprehend things is not like He does. We oftentimes think that the choices we are making are best for us, but often times we realize later on that they really aren't. It's so important to ask God for guidance in all circumstances and situations before we realize too late that we cannot trust our flesh. Today, make sure you aren't letting your emotions, feelings, and thoughts lead you, instead, let God lead you. His plans and thoughts are always better for us than we have for ourselves. You will never look back and regret trusting God, because when you trust God you always end you where you're meant to be and the happiest you will ever be. Let God lead the way and not your flesh. In the same way, He lead the Israelites out of slavery and the wilderness, Daniel into the lion's den, Jonah into the whale, Peter out of prison, Joshua in the battle of Jerrico, and Moses across the Red Sea God will do the same for you! Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭ “So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.” Romans‬ ‭8:6‬ ‭ “So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.” Galatians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭ “For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will.” Romans‬ ‭8:7‬ ‭
