Life's Short And Eternity Is Long.
“But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” Matthew 7:14
We live in a world where everything moves so fast that we forget that every day is a day closer to eternity. I was praying today and I was thinking of how we as Christians know we are the ones who know the truth but are other religions don't and are they okay if they haven't been told the truth before? Soon as I prayed about that I then felt God speak to me and say the verse "Straight is the gate, narrow is the way, and few that find it." I then realized that we all are capable of knowing the truth if only we truly search to find it. If the truth was easy to find then it wouldn't be a narrow gate or few to find it. See we all were given free will since Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. We have that choice and perhaps that is why only a few find it. Not everyone wants to live for God and not everyone chooses to, that's why those of us who do have to set an example for Christ. We have to wake up each morning on a mission for God! Today, make choices that change the world for the better and bring others to God! You have free will but do all you can to be a part of those few that find the right way, seek God, and let Him open your knowledge to what all the truth truly is. I know you always hear how life is short, but the truth is eternity is long. Make the best choices now because life is really short! Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way.”Matthew 7:13 “How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.” James 4:14 “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” John 10:10 ““From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”” Isaiah 43:13
