Make An Investment In God.

“Giving a gift can open doors; it gives access to important people!” Proverbs‬ ‭18:16‬ ‭

Invest in God and He will not forget you. Invest your time into prayer, invest your money into tithes and mission work, invest your work into helping, being kind and passionate towards others, and invest your emotions and heart into God's own hands. When you begin to invest yourself in God and His work you will notice He begins to invest into your life. It's like this why would you constantly pour your emotions and efforts into a friendship or relationship that isn't doing the same in return for you, you wouldn't. You can't expect to live for God on Sunday and for Him to show up every other day of the week for you. You don't get perfect attendance at school for showing up once a week so how could you learn and understand God fully by spending one day of the week with Him? You can't. Start making God your top priority in life and watch your life change for the better. Where God sees faithful God rewards it. Today, make sure your biggest investment in life is your relationship with God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.” Psalms‬ ‭37:5‬ ‭ “To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭12:8‬ ‭ “Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭ “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” Malachi‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
