Refilled By The Holy Spirit.

“He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.” John‬ ‭14:17

‬ ‭As I was getting ready this morning I was listening to worship music, as the song played I felt the Holy Spirit surround me and I began to cry and worship God. Growing up and even up until last year I thought I had to be in a church with a powerful service or an altar to feel the Holy Spirit that strong. I have learned over the last year that I can feel the Holy Spirit in my bed, in the car, in my living room, cleaning, or anywhere because the Holy Spirit is with me wherever I am. Before Jesus came His Spirit was not easily found, but the day that Jesus died on the cross the veil in the temple tore and so did every boundary to get to His Spirit. The Bible teaches that God is with us wherever we go. If you need some refilling in your spiritual life take some time by yourself whether it be in your car, in your bedroom, in the shower, cleaning, washing dishes, sitting in your living room, or anywhere and listen to some worship music, pray, and spend time with God until you feel His presences surround you. Today, make time for God until you feel Him near, we are only close to Him as we choose to be. Make your effort to feel His Spirit and be refilled by Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭ “So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves.” Galatians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭ “The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.” Psalms‬ ‭121:8‬ ‭ “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.”James‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭
