Right Timing.

“I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.” Mark‬ ‭11:24‬ ‭

We tend to want things immediately when we pray. See God doesn't work that way, He gives us things when we need them. God never gives us something too early, and never too late. Patience is key in a relationship with God because you have to learn to trust His timing instead of your own. You have to learn that the time when God gives you something is perfect timing. Anything that we pray for is going to be answered whether God answers and it is no, not now, or yes. The Bible tells us that if we ask anything in the name of Jesus and it is in His will for us then He will answer it. When you pray for something know that it will soon be answered if it isn't the will of God then something even better than what you prayed for will come. You never have to question God's timing because He is always looking out for what is best for us. When God gives you what you're praying for ask for wisdom and discipline to keep what He is giving you. Today, pray for what you need and then wait on the perfect time when God is going to give it to you, don't rush what is meant for you because when it is the right time for you to have it God will give it to you. Your time is coming my dear, you will most definitely have all that you need because God will never forget you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.”Matthew‬ ‭6:6‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ “Then the earth will yield its harvests, and God, our God, will richly bless us.” Psalms‬ ‭67:6‬ ‭ “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” James‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
