Your Calling Matters
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
When God calls you never have to worry about what others think those who are the ones sent from God will support you. I recently felt led to enroll in a Christian Bible College, today I took that step and started a free small course of it to see if it was the one for me, I told some people that are close to me and each of them was excited for me. I thought of how those who are truly there for me will support me, and those who don't well aren't for me and don't understand my calling. The calling that God has for you is for you not for anyone else. The calling God has for you is meant for you and it will find you but only if you're willing to accept the calling. God gave us free will and that means that we have to choose to do what God wants. Your choice to do what God wants is up to you. Today, if you know the calling on your life then do it, if you don't know the calling on your life ask God to guide you to find it. Age, weight, height, and money are not a matter in your calling for God, He looks on the heart. He knew the calling on your life long ago and has fully equipped you for it. The calling on your life matters, it will change lives and save many souls and that is why God has called you specifically to do it and not anyone else. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28 “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.” Philippians 2:13 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
