Don't Throw Stones Instead Throw Kindness.
“They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”” John 8:7
Jesus was the one person in this world from the beginning of time to the end that is worthy of being rude and judging someone by their sins, but He didn't. He didn't spend His time on earth chasing every sinner and making them feel bad for their mistakes, instead, He found them in their sin, was kind, and encouraged them to turn from their sins. We should spend our time helping others turn from their sins not judging them for them. In the Bible, there is a story that I have always loved because it really shows Christ's true love for us. Here is a short reference to it to refresh your memory if you do know it. There was a woman caught in adultery, Jesus was in the crowd and they were waiting for Him to slip up and say something that they could trap Him in. They kept demanding Him to give them an answer, He stood up and said, "All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone." The crowd left one by one oldest to youngest. That is when Jesus spoke with the woman and said, "Where are your accusers? Didn't even one of them condemn you?" She replied, "No, Lord," she said. And Jesus said, "Neither do I. Go and sin no more." Jesus was the one person that was worthy enough to throw the first stone didn't. Try to be like Jesus when you see someone sinning, be patient, and just tell them to turn from their sins. Don't try to force the outcome because they will only be able to answer and choose for themselves. Today, make sure that you're helping others but not being judgemental, it's not your place to judge and throw the stone instead it is important to love someone and tell them they should change for the sake of their eternity. Don't spend your time throwing stones, instead throw kindness, patience, and love towards them. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:32 “You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.”Luke 6:36 “A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people.” 2 Timothy 2:24 “Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.”Proverbs 16:24
