From Broken To Being A Vessel.
“But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over.” Jeremiah 18:4
When we hear stories in the Bible like David and Goliath, Jonah in the belly of the whale, Esther becoming Queen and saving the Jews, Daniel in the lion's den, and any others where God does the impossible. Those stories are hope for us to know that what we face is able to be fixed by God because He done it for them. God is going to use your story in the same way, you might not be written on the pages of the Bible but your story of what you are surviving now and have survived will help so many people. God will use you and the things that you face as an example of His power, love, strength, joy and miracles today. Sometimes we just need a reminder that God is still in the miracle and saving business. Today, let God use you as a vessel for Him and to show the world of what He can do! You are chosen by God and anointed for His glory! You will understand that the reason you faced things was for His power to shine through you to help others see that there is a way to get through what they face everyday. You are going to be a great vessel of God if only you let Him work through you. See the reason you've been broken down and feel as though as you've been torn apart is because God teaches us that He is the potter, we are the clay. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.” 2 Timothy 2:21 “And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.” Isaiah 64:8 ““O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand.” Jeremiah 18:6 “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
