God Is In Control.
“When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm.” Mark 4:39
Stop letting things that are out of your control stress you out. God knew it would come to this, but He also knew how and when He'd get you out of it. When Jesus was in the boat and the storm came He was still asleep, He didn't wake up and panic. He knew who was in control and at the second of His voice it would become calm. I've noticed that when I stress over something that is out of my control and not even close to happening yet that it was a waste of my time to even worry because God works it out. The last time I stressed over something out of my control God spoke to me and said, "It's not worth worrying about because I've already worked it out!". I then felt a peace come over me and didn't worry about it again. As time went on God did just as He had promised to me. Today, remind yourself that the one who calmed the sea is the one in charge of your life today too. He hasn't forgotten you, everything you've faced before now He has brought you through and handled it for you. The Bible says not to worry about tomorrow because today's worries are enough, focus on now and remember that God is in control of every storm in your life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”” Mark 4:40 “Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.” Matthew 8:26 “Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?”Matthew 6:26 ““So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” Matthew 6:34
