God Will Show Up And Show Out!
“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” Hebrews 10:25
Today's world teaches us that it's okay to not show up at church just because we are tired, don't feel the very best, don't feel like going, because it's a holiday weekend and we could have other plans, the weather isn't perfect or we just aren't in the mood. That isn't how it's always been though, when Jesus walked the earth in His human form crowds came from all over just to be around Him, such as the woman with the blood issue that found Jesus and knew if she only touched His robe she would be healed. We can still feel that presence and touch the hem of His robe if we try to show up for Him. I'm not saying you have to be in church to be a Christian or to feel His presence but it is good to be a part of a church community to uplift, inspire and build you, it also makes our hope, faith, and trust grow. The Bible says where two or three are gathered together I am there in the midst, God wants us to have others to worship and pray with. Stop letting the enemy talk you out of your blessing, go to church, and get that healing, restoration, blessing, the chains broken, or whatever it is you need from God! Today, make a plan to go to church the next time the doors are open and stick to it, don't let the enemy or anyone else talk you out of it. Don't have a ride, then call a church member to pick you up, you're too tired make time to take a nap after church, don't feel the best then go get your healing at the altar. Don't let excuses sent from the enemy ruin what God has waiting for you on that altar! If you will only show up as you are, God is going to show out as we say in the South! He's going to go above and beyond for you. Get up and go! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”” Matthew 18:20 “Now I will break the yoke of bondage from your neck and tear off the chains of Assyrian oppression.”” Nahum 1:13 ““Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces; now he will heal us. He has injured us; now he will bandage our wounds.” Hosea 6:1 “For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.”” Mark 5:28
