It Doesn't Matter How!

““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:8‬ ‭

When we are praying for something we always question how God will do it, next time you come to a crossroads of wondering how He will do it instead focus on that He will. When God says He will do something you can count on, it might not be when or how you thought but it will come to pass. Our human minds are only capable of imagining so much, the Bible says that our ways are not His ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. The thoughts and ways that you think God will do something for you most likely arent it. You can't sit and wonder how all the time, instead get up and put your faith into action by trusting God by knowing He will and trusting Him with how! The Bible teaches us to put faith to work! Today, make sure you're putting your faith to work rather than focusing on how He will do as He has promised you. You are getting just what God promised you, but remember to not worry about how it will happen! God makes promises and keeps them. The rainbow is a reminder that each time we see it, He will never flood the earth again! Here are some verses to reflect on today.  “For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:9‬ ‭ “Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”” James‬ ‭2:18‬ ‭ “Not a single one of all the good promises the Lord had given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything he had spoken came true.”Joshua‬ ‭21:45‬ ‭ “I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth.” Genesis‬ ‭9:13‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
