Let Them Go.
“For the Lord sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes.” Proverbs 5:21
When you meet someone, always ask God to reveal their true intentions to you. It's better to know sooner than later that they're not meant to be in your life. There is still a prayer you can pray that has often worked for me, but you have to mean it sincerely because God wants honesty with us. If you have someone in your life you are unsure is meant to be there, pray and ask God to remove them if they aren't meant for you. This prayer often can come with pain. The hard thing in life is that everyone you care about isn't meant for you, but the good thing is God chooses the best people for us. You can't continue to keep people in your life that you know aren't meant to be there because they are only holding you back. I know it's hard to let go but God's plans are always best. Look at the story of Ruth she let go of her family and followed her mother-in-law Naomi but it led her to Boaz. When you let go of the people not meant for you then you will meet those who are meant for you God sends you the right people when you learn to stop letting go of the wrong ones. Today, learn to let go of those who you know aren't meant for you and wait for those who are whether it be friends, boyfriends, or girlfriends. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.” Genesis 50:20 “There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.” Proverbs 18:24 “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” Proverbs 27:17 “Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.” Proverbs 13:20
