Serve God All The Time.

“And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭6:5‬ ‭

So many times in life we don't communicate with God unless we need Him for something for us. It's like a child that gets bored with a toy and drops it until it can't find another one to play with. We think it's okay to use God when He's needed and toss him to the side until the next time we do, but it's far from the truth of what we need to be doing. The Bible says, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength." You can't love God and not have communication with Him or serve Him every day. If you feel like you have been doing this or currently doing this think about how God always listens immediately, His love and devotion for us should be enough for us to want to serve Him daily. God isn't a medication we can take when needed, He is needed daily. Make sure that God is your priority and not just someone you talk to when you need something. Today, put God first above all things because He is the most important always. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “The man answered, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”” Luke‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭ ““The Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!” Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:6‬ ‭ ““No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” Matthew‬ ‭6:24‬ ‭ “But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”” Joshua‬ ‭24:15‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
