The Door Will Open.

““I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.” Revelation‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭

There is a promise God has given me over my life for about five years now, it's something that I think of often and remind myself of what God said. I needed a reminder that I have something to look forward to for me to still accomplish for God. I prayed for a sign about it, which I haven't prayed for in a really long time. Today as I went about my day I completely forgot about it, tonight I received a text and it was more than a confirmation for me because it was something out of the ordinary for the person who sent it to me and they agreed that it was a sign about what I prayed about. It reminded me that although I sometimes need encouragement and a reminder that things will come to pass as God told me that He is faithful to His word and will always remind us. I think so many times when I feel like God has forgotten me that so many people in the Bible I'm sure felt that way also, but God always came through for them so He will for me too. Today, if you feel like what God has promised you hasn't come to pass yet, ask God to show you it again to encourage and remind you that it is still to come. God has never forgotten you and never will. Hold on because God is fixing to open doors that no man can shut! Just hold on to the promise because just like for me God has not forgotten you and never will. Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
