The Voice Of Truth.

“The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”” Genesis‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭

Once you learn to hear God's voice clearly the other voices around don't seem to matter anymore. The enemy will constantly tell you lies like you're not good enough, God won't come through for you, you're being too calm about this situation, get mad at them and judge them and so many more things. The way you can always tell if it's the Holy Spirit is if you hear voices of truth, the Holy Spirit will tell you, I will prosper, God has never failed me why would He start now, my joy comes from the Lord, I am strong in Christ, my hope is found in God and so many more promises. You can learn to tell what is from the enemy only if you're listening. As a teen growing up one of the biggest lies the enemy would tell me that would work and break me down was I was never good enough. I struggled with insecurities and the enemy brought me down with that thought. One night in a church service I remember the song, "Oh How He Loves Us" being played, I went to the altar with the baggage no one knew I was carrying at a young age and laid it at the feet of Jesus. From then on I reminded myself that God loves me and the right people for me will too. Others who truly care about us don't worry about the things we are insecure about and God definitely doesn't. I was freed from the burden. I was free to live for God. I could then see that it was only the enemy dragging me down with that lie. The enemy is always trying to deceive us, but God is always prospering us. Today, if you don't know which voice is from God think about what is the promise and what seems to be deception soon it will be clear which voice is accurate. You will never be told by God to do something that doesn't align with His word, but that is the enemy's top priority to get you to do. Here are some verses to reflect on today.  “And the believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭13:52‬ ‭ “That is why the Holy Spirit says, “Today when you hear his voice,” Hebrews‬ ‭3:7‬ ‭ “And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.” Romans‬ ‭8:26‬ ‭ “for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said.”” Luke‬ ‭12:12‬ ‭
