Through The Looking Glass.

“There is a wide-open door for a great work here, although many oppose me.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭16:9‬ ‭

I was praying about what I should write tonight and God reminded me of something that happened today. This is something that is going to seem like it doesn't make sense but just bear with me. This morning early it was thundering, we have a fenced-in yard and our dog was out, it is terrified of storms it started jumping on my window from our porch it woke me up thinking that it had jumped through the window, but it hadn't so my husband let it in. God showed me this moment in my head and said, "How many times do we jump through a window instead of waiting for God to open the door." Think about that for a second. We are so quick to become impatient waiting on God to open the door that we make a way for ourselves and it isn't where we are meant to be. If you've been praying for that door to open no matter what it is don't jump through the window the Lord is coming to open the door. He heard your prayers, He heard your brokenness, desperation, and hurt He knows you're tired but don't grow weary just yet. Hold on because God is on the way the door is going to open up for you and it will be so much better than you could have even imagined. Today, I encourage you don't jump into a relationship, jump into a job, or jump to buy a house or car because just because it seems comfortable doesn't mean that's what God has for you. The door isn't the same scenery as where the window is remember that.  Don't grow tired just yet, He hasn't and never will forget you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.” Revelation‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭ ““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭ “For you are God, O Lord. And you have promised these good things to your servant.” 1 Chronicles‬ ‭17:26‬ ‭ “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭
