A Change Of Heart.

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭

When we are praying for a situation to change but we don't see anything happening sometimes it's because God is trying to change us. I prayed a long time ago about a situation and God told me, "Maybe I'm not going to change the situation but instead I'm going to change your heart." That is exactly what God has done for me, He changed my heart and I healed from what I was praying about. I didn't get the exact thing I was praying for but God gave me something better for me. See when God doesn't give us the things we pray for He either changes things and we don't need it or He changes our hearts and we end up with something better. Don't be so discouraged over things that you cannot seem to understand, God didn't forget you and He never will. Pray and ask God sincerely to change your heart if what your praying for isn't the best thing that He has for you. Today, don't be discouraged by what you see because when you least expect it God will change you and good things will find you without you searching for them. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.” Mark‬ ‭11:24‬ ‭ “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” Ephesians‬ ‭6:18‬ ‭ “And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:26‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
